The Sigma 150-600mm lens and the TC-1401 teleconverter can autofocus on DSLRs capable of AF operation to F/8. Depending on the camera, the number of AF points capable of F/8 operation may vary. On cameras that state autofocus operation to f/5.6, the lens and teleconverter combination will need to be used in manual focus operation. Please check your camera’s manual.

OS 1 detects and corrects both vertical and horizontal camera and lens shake. OS 2 employs the accelerometer to automatically detect panning orientation and corrects accordingly.
Lens Customization originated with Sigma. The USB Dock and Sigma Optimization Pro software allow the lens to be hooked to a computer to update firmware and adjust and modify performance characteristics. For example, the most recent firmware update improves Autofocus algorithms to offer an overall speed boost to AF performance. And the two lens Customization settings allows for 16 zone microfocus adjustments, custom focus limiters, additional AF enhancements, manual focus override behavior and Optical Stabilizer preview behavior.
Yes, Sigma Optimization Pro recognizes the 150-600mm lenses by themselves, and when paired with the teleconverter, allowing for lens customization settings to be optimized for the lens, and the lens and teleconverter combination.
